Frederic M. Richards had various hairstyles during his lifetime. He became famous as a great chemist, biologist and biochemist. Nevertheless, the Biochemist, biophysicist, crystallographer, and sailor; founder and chair of Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University was specially known for his unique looks and his pleasant personality.
